THIS SITE HAS BEEN INSTALLED AND IS CURRENTLY LOGGING DATA!

The site was installed 2 August, 2006, on the grounds of Bison Peak Lodge near Tarryall, Colorado.

This location has granite outcrop underfoot and a reasonable sky view.

Many thanks to Quentin of Bison Peak Lodge for helping us find the site and David Appleton (lodge owner) for his interest in helping out the project, as well as Mark Beardsley, Heide Andersen and Kyle Bonnenstiel for their suggestions of folks to contact!

A data outage from 21 May to 18 Oct 2008 (see time series on our status page) resulted when the receiver disk filled after logging was mistakenly set to 1 second sampling.
